Following the Asian Dynamic Positioning Conference held at Marine Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, the Asian Offshore Support Journal (OSJ) Conference 2016 also organised by Riviera was held on 22-23rd September. “Mike Meade (M3 Marine Group, CEO) and three other industry experts namely Duncan Telfer (Swire Pacific Offshore, Commercial Director), Venkatraman Sheshashayee – ‘Shesh’ (Miclyn Express Offshore, CEO), and Leong Seng Keat (Nam Cheong, CEO) battled in the Industry first ‘Presidential style debate’ with Mike putting the motion forward, being; “This house believes that the offshore support vessel industry is its own worst enemy”. Although Mike and Duncan carried the motion it was admirably fought by Shesh and Leong. However it was hats off to Shesh who had the best Presentation of the whole event and had the seminar participants in stitches of laughter at Mike and Duncan’s expense.”
